About the job
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Sea Operator to join our team on a full time basis.
Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Process documents efficiently and promptly ensure they are correct and have been entered into the operations system.

Liaise with Customs Agents, clients, various transport bodies, and Australian Customs as and when required.

Take responsibility for confiding all sourcing to Approved Suppliers, for reviewing all purchase orders that may be documented, and for liaising with Quality when new suppliers are considered.

Liaise with overseas offices and agents regarding paperwork and charges, specifically freight charges and profit share.

Handle any claims regarding damage or pillage by way of notification to Quality, Customer Service, Notice of Intent to Claim, and transfer of data to Sea Operations Manager.

To inspect all dangerous goods documentation and cargo, where applicable.

To arrange ultimate consignee with Shipping Lines or Customs prior to arrival of vessel.

Take appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.
About you

1 Years Experience in similar role within the industry
