Alexander, it’s so great, that you are sharing your experiences with us! Could you tell us something about your time here at Hellmann?
Since I came on board I have been workings as a Road Freight Manager and I am responsible for our Branch in Kufstein. In Kufstein we are a small team, focusing on improving the product Road in Austria. We are offering direct load to customers, establishing fixed cooperations with Carriers all over the Europe, as well as we are offering long term logistics solutions to our clients.
And what about your job do you enjoy the most?
Simple, for me it is about the people. Hellmann gives me the opportunity to connect with people, expand my network and get in touch with the biggest players in Europe.
What attracts you to the field of logistics?
What fascinates me about it, is that it never gets boring. The markets are changing all the time and you need to have good instincts to take good decisions. It is always necessary to be ready to take a risk, but there is nothing sweeter than a risk that pays off in the end.
That seems exciting! And how would you describe working at Hellmann?
Working at Hellmann is like working with friends in a professional way. Hellmann gives me a big stage presence, and a lot opportunities to be successful and further develop myself, and the best thing is, no one is micromanaging me. I have the trust of my supervisor and I have room to prove myself and provide results.

That Hellmann is a family company may be the reason why you have the feeling that you are working in an environment that really cares more about people than about numbers. At the end of the day I know that I will get back everything what I am investing here. I can rely on the people around me.
That’s amazing! Can you also tell us something about the atmosphere in your team?
We are experienced professionals with a good sense of humor so it never gets boring in the office. We are very confident in our abilities and fair and reliable when cooperating and doing business.
Alexander, could you sum up in a few sentences what working at Hellmann means to you?
Hellmann gives me the possibility to be successful in a very special industry. It is cool to have the chance to speak with the biggest companies in Europe, it also gives me the chance to tell my parents about transports which we did and how we possible made it possible that a Motorcycle Driver was on the start on Saturdays race with a new engine, just because we delivered again in time. I am proud that the management allows me to be a part of this team. I’m loving it.
