Annapoorna, it's great that you would like to share your Hellmann story with us! Maybe you could start by telling us, what your current position is and what responsibilities you have?
I am HR Manager and take ownership of the people Lifecycle & Administration.
What excites you the most about your job and your job field?
As HR professionals, we are expected to wear many hats, such as being people-centric, change agents, counselors, advisors, recruiters, and more. The impact we create in people's lives excites and motivates me.
And what fascinates you about the logistics industry?
Logistics is a people's business that relies on communication. As an HR manager, connecting with the business is an integral part of my responsibility. Hellmann is a family company, which I am happy to be a part of.
Sounds great! You are part of Hellmann since 2022, right? What was your first impression of Hellmann?
Hellmann has surprised me with a cool flower bouquet before I joined the company. This was a very warm gesture. I still have the same feeling. There are some new initiatives to care, encourage, train, get feedback, improve and ultimate be a strong company which supports people.
Sounds like you really enjoy to work at Hellmann. What is the working atmosphere like?
Hellmann is a FAMILY company. I never felt that working with HWL was stressful or tiring. Right from my joining day, I always had the care and support required to settle into the system and understand the culture. I feel heard, involved, valued, and cared for.
Let's talk about your team! How is your team made up?
We are a team of 8 people spread across India, consisting of 4 Regional HR members and 3 members in the Corporate Central HR team, all headed by our HR Director.
And what is the team like? How would you describe your team?
We are part of an efficient leadership structure. Speaking of my team, we are a well-connected group, regularly convening on our weekly calls to discuss projects and events, and brainstorming on processes. It feels like we are a family from different regions and we are extremely reliable. My functional boss is always available whenever needed, and the care she spreads is contagious. She is a super cool boss!
Annapoorna, if you had to describe what working at Hellmann means to you in only one sentence, what would it be?
Sharpening up my career path along with the Organizational growth strategies and be part of the great journey.
