Thank you for sharing your insights with us, Arturas! Since when have you been with Hellmann?
I’m a member of Hellmann since 2011. So, it has already been 13 years here.
Wow, that’s quite a long time! How would you describe your career at Hellmann so far?
I can divide my career at Hellmann into a few different eras; when I was sales representative, and when I became responsible for the whole sales team in Lithuania. All those eras are very important for me. In my humble opinion, the dynamic environment and teamwork spirit are major factors why I’m still in this company.
And what does your position entail?
As head of sales in Lithuania I am responsible for my team. My team and I are responsible for keeping the exciting clients and gaining new ones in Lithuania. Actually, we live in a very small country, but the competition in logistics is very harsh. We have to fight for every client and almost every shipment. That’s why I’m very proud of my colleagues in the team, because they all have been working in a very competitive environment.
What has been your greatest professional success so far?
There were plenty of very successful projects in which we were involved. But I think the most memorable were the projects in which we had a chance to deliver about 40x40 from China to Lithuania for the Lithuanian government in COVID times. For this project we got the gratitude diploma from the Ministry of transport and communications of Lithuania. There was a gratitude for successful and well-organized deliveries.
That really is something to be proud of! But do you also remember how it first started? How was your first day?
I remember this day very well because when I came into the organization, I felt that I became a part of a very warm organization. It was felt from the very beginning. Humble and good people and very supportive management. Now I’m trying to provide such feelings for the new members of my team as well.
That sounds amazing! What makes Hellmann such a great place to be in your opinions?
It is the mix of everything. An international environment, that provides the best opportunities for people to mark their career paths with a long success.
Seems like you found the right place for you here! But what are Mondays like at Hellmann- do you ever get that typical Monday feeling?
Monday feeling is not a problem in logistics. You came to work on Mondays and realize, that the show is on, the stage is yours! The adrenaline of dynamic environment, every day communication and negotiation are the true inspiration for me.
Could you tell us, what Hellmann means to you?
Hellmann is everything that comes to mind when I think about the best career path. I’m the member of an international organization, that is making a difference in business and people’s daily life by providing the best possible logistic solutions in the whole world.
