Arul, it is great that you are open to sharing your story. Maybe you could start by telling us, what your current position is and what responsibilities you have?
I am the Senior Manager Ocean Freight (Export & Import). In this role, I am responsible for leading the team by example and ensuring the retention of our existing customers, as well as supporting sales for engaging new customers.
And you have been with Hellmann since 2016, right? What was your first impression of Hellmann when you joined us back then?
My first impression of Hellmann was very positive. The office environment was very welcoming; it was modern and inviting, and I was immediately struck by the collaborative atmosphere. During my onboarding process, I interacted with several colleagues from different departments, and everyone was friendly and took the time to answer my questions. I learned about the company's mission and values, which resonated deeply with my own, and participated in an informative overview of my role and responsibilities. I was excited to learn more about the company and contribute to the team's success.
That sounds great! And what fascinates you about your job?
Im particularly drawn to the creative problem-solving aspect of my field. Coming up with innovative solutions that can benefit others and enhance processes has always been a personal passion of mine. This field enables me to continually learn and challenge myself, perfectly aligning with my desire for continuous growth. This fast-paced environment is exciting for people like us who thrive on innovation and being at the forefront of technological progress to tackle new challenges every day.
Now, from your perspective, why do you consider Hellmann a great place to be?
Working at Hellmann is a rewarding experience. The company culture is collaborative and supportive, and I feel valued for my contributions. In my role as Sea freight Manager, I enjoy regular challenges to overcome the daily task to achieve the set goals. The company also offers numerous opportunities for professional development, which I greatly appreciate.
