Brenda, thank you for sharing your story with us. Could you tell us about your job at Hellmann?
I work in Seafreight Export Customer Service at Hellmann. I handle breakbulk and LCL shipments for Europe Mediterranean and negotiate the space allocation and shipping line selection with overseas partners.
Interesting! And what keeps you passionate about your work?
I love interacting with customers, shipping lines, and colleagues. My job is to find the best arrangements for each shipment, listen to customer needs, communicate effectively, and ensure safe delivery. Every day brings new challenges, and I learn how to solve problems and satisfy customers.
That sounds like it never gets boring! Could you tell us about your team?
My team is all female. We have different personalities and working styles, but we share a common goal: to make our department and the company successful. We help each other learn new systems and share information about new customers. When problems arise, we help each other out.
You really motivate each other! Is there anything you would like to encourage or inspire other colleagues with?
During my years at Hellmann, I have deeply realized that the camaraderie between colleagues is invaluable. I cherish the time I spend working with everyone. It's great to see colleagues helping each other and solving problems together. Routine work can be boring, but it's interesting to find better ways to do it. Let's make progress together.
Yes, let's do that! Could you share a little bit about the work atmosphere at Hellmann in general?
Hellmann cares about employee comfort and work environment. The office is open and spacious. The desks are retractable, and the pantry is always well-stocked. The restrooms are clean and tidy. These details show that the company cares about its employees. There are no partitions between departments, so there are more opportunities to interact with colleagues from other departments.
