DAVID MENDOZA
Allocation Team Manager
Manila
David, thank you for sharing your experiences at Hellmann with us! Could you tell us more about your position and what your current job looks like?
I was just appointed as the Allocation Team Manager in January 2024. We do Allocation Setting with Key carriers, driving QFP to ensure fulfilled allocations, driving Named Accounts/FAK allocations and coordinating with Carriers for Space/Equipment escalations. Every day, there is a possibility that a new scenario may happen.
That sounds quite challenging! Is there something about your job that you are particularly proud of?
Being part of the Hellmann family. This organization helped me realize the potential that I have and continues to contribute on my growth and learning. I take joy on all the projects I was involved with, each project may be unique, but all was crafted with effort and enthusiasm.
It’s so great that you feel excited about your projects! What is the atmosphere at Hellmann like?
Family. Everyone is easy to approach yet competitive to win with you. The culture makes Hellmann special: It is a good working environment with a great potential for growth.
And what about the people you work with - how would you describe your team?
The team is energetic and fun to work with. They are good on supporting the needs of colleagues and taking the lead when a situation arises. You can count on them when needed.
Being able to trust and lean on your team is very important. If you had to sum it up – What makes Hellmann the right place for you?
It’s not often you find an organization that treats you like a family and at the same time invests in your growth. Each day has a challenge of its own, but I am glad to face those challenges with colleagues I can depend and rely on. We resolve issues together; you can never feel like you are being left behind. The experience I have here is the best so far, everyone wants to contribute a win.
