It’s great you’re sharing your story with us, Diana. What has your career at Hellmann been like so far?
It has been an incredible journey since starting as a Receptionist for the Miami Regional Headquarters offices. While working as a Receptionist, I was given the opportunity to take on additional duties as a part time Learning Specialist. This gave me the opportunity to help employees which I really enjoy doing. In June 2022, Priscila Rodriguez, our Regional Learning and Development Manager, recognized my dedication and promoted me to the position of full-time Regional Learning Specialist.
What an interesting career development! What excites you the most about your job?
What excites you the most about your job? What truly excites me about my job is the opportunity to make a positive impact by helping others. Having a role where I can share valuable learning content with employees, enabling their professional growth at Hellmann, brings me immense fulfillment.
It must be fascinating to be part of other people’s development! Could you maybe tell us something about the working atmosphere here at Hellmann?
The atmosphere is really the best. The people in HR and all around the other departments are great; they are always caring about your success at Hellmann, allowing you to learn and have a great time all at once.
That sounds wonderful. And what makes Hellmann special as an employer to you?
It is the best employer for me because it has given me the opportunity to grow not only as a professional but as a person. If it wasn’t for my manager and the people that have been around me and the people that I have worked with, I would not be able to be the person that I am now.
What is your favorite thing about Hellmann?
The flexibility, the benefits that it offers, and the good people that work in the organization.
That’s good to hear! What about the people you work with – could you tell us more about your team?
I would have to describe my team as "The Powerpuff Girls", each one has a totally different personality but together we are able to do the impossible. I love the great connection that we have, even though we are all different, we understand each other perfectly and our communication is the best. We haven’t known each other for a long time but the way that we know what the other is looking for, thinking about or even what she is going to say is impressive.
Sounds like you are part of a fantastic and powerful team! If you had to sum it up, what does working at Hellmann mean to you?
Working at Hellmann means to me growth, opportunity, and connection. The fact that I started as a Receptionist and I am now a Regional Learning Specialist, is an example of how important employee development is at Hellmann. I am so grateful for having the opportunity to meet and collaborate with so many people from different countries. I hope my story can inspire more people to grow their career and believe that anything is possible at Hellmann.
