Ivan loves the professionalism and the humor in the teamwork at Hellmann. Would you like to learn more about his insights?

I have had the opportunity to grow internally and move up and take another position within the company. Now I am an air import supervisor, a position I have held since approximately 2005.

My fascination for this field comes from my general love for aviation and coincidentally I had to work in air cargo and airports in my early years. When I started, I was not very clear about this field, but little by little I became passionate about it.

Yes, it was in air export operations, in the operational area, which involved tasks from the review of truck unloading to the issuance of documents to the air CIA. My first impression of Hellmann was that it is large and in constant evolution; with is a world of opportunities.

A lot of teamwork and clear tasks and objectives. The atmosphere It is very good and especially in my general area of the airfreight product I work with very committed and professional people.

Because it has constant training and use of technologies both in terms of equipment and programs.

Currently I am in a team with Ivania Soto and Hugo Mendoza, both are very professional and have a lot of experience, plus my product manager Pablo Merino who comes with a LATAM background of several years and several years of management of other freight-forwarders.

Above all, they are professional, methodical and passionate about the work they do every day; always pushing to do the daily tasks in the best way and they are also very funny which brings a good share of humor which makes the daily work much more bearable. What I like the most are the complicity, the good humor and the 24/7 professionalism.

Day by day we are always aligned and in constant communication, whether in person at the office, by phone or virtually, with the objective of being an aligned and organized team.

To be part of a company that has an enormous human potential and infrastructure, that this culture of values is transversal regardless of the country where you are and that finally has something that applies a seal that makes it different from our competitors in the freight-forwarding world. Hellmann has been a seedbed of very good talent, some of which are still with us and others who have migrated, but clearly their passage through this company leaves an indelible mark in time.
