Jacek , it is great that you are open to sharing your story. Maybe you could start by telling us, what your current position is and what responsibilities you have?
Since May 2022, I have been working in the position of Airfreight Forwarder, while also developing my knowledge and skills as a BPM for the Polish Airfreight Team. In this role I am responsible for arranging every step of goods transportation. This means dealing with customers, airlines, counterparts, and many other entities involved in supply chain processes.
What excites you the most about your job and your job field?
Some cases are very challenging, which makes this job so interesting. Some shipments travel around the world in just a few hours to supply some customers assemblies or meet time of vessel berthing for just a while into the port. Constant time pressure and importance of our shipments for demanding clients, these factors among others, makes my job incredible.
And what fascinates you about the logistics industry?
I really like the fact, that every participant of logistic supply chain is interdependent with each other. Only tight and fair cooperation of all the entities within the transport process ensures seamless flow of the goods.
What was your best moment at Hellmann so far?
Every day brings some great moments, especially when one has the honor of working within a team of great, helpful, and very wise people.
