Thank you for sharing your story with us, Luis! Could you tell us how your journey at Hellmann started?
I started my career at Hellmann Mexico City Branch in November 2015. Then I continued my career at HWL Canada Toronto Branch in October 2023.
So you stuck with Hellmann even after moving to a different country! How has your career at Hellmann progressed so far?
It is a learning journey, working at Hellmann has taught me to prioritize my time and be more efficient. To be constantly improving. Hellmann fosters in me an entrepreneurial mentality and forward thinking. I learn something every day.
Could you tell us more about your position and why you chose the field you’re in?
I am currently working as an Accounting Specialist at HWL Canada Branch Toronto since October 2023. I like the area of Finance and Global economy. I chose this job because it is the place where I can develop my skills and apply my knowledge. This area allows for clearer visibility of the company's financial position, which helps to make better decisions and anticipate possible unforeseen circumstances for the company. My interest in the field arose because my grandfather is an accountant and I used to talk to him about his career.
What about your job is the most exciting to you?
To have the creativity to devise strategies that can improve the company's performance makes my job challenging and interesting.
That sounds amazing! Do you still remember what your first impression of Hellmann was?
A family business that highly values the effort and dedication of its employees. A company with a unique corporate culture and very solid values. A reliable place.
And did this impression prove true?
100%. In the years that I have worked at Hellmann I realize that Hellmann has surpassed my first perspective. Human capital is crucial in the company's culture. Hellmann takes care of this aspect and is motivating its employees.

Working at Hellmann is learning every day, knowing that your decisions will be listened to, knowing that you will be constantly improving, your performance will be measured and that there will always be challenges that will make you grow and be more efficient.
And when you think about the team-work at Hellmann, what can you share with us about that?
What I like most about my work team is the communication and collaboration that we have between us. If someone has questions there is always someone who can guide and help. We communicate our goals appropriately and we receive constructive feedback. The team also has a great leader.

Hellmann is special as an employer because it highly values the efforts of its employees. Hellmann's corporate culture is unique and the ideology that the company transmits to the employees is also unique. It is a place where anyone will feel happy working at. I value the job stability, the work-environment and the professional recognition that the company offers its employees.
If you had to sum it up, what does working at Hellmann mean to you?
To work internationally, to be in contact with people from all over the world, learn a lot every day, be constantly improving.
