We’re happy that you are sharing your story with us, Mariely! Could you tell us about how you came to Hellmann?
I studied International Business at Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico.
I once did a project related to exportation to Canada and in that moment, I fell in love with logistics. One of my best friends recommended Hellmann and I sent the application for an interview. And I started in the Airfreight operations team in August 1st 2011.
And your career journey continued at Hellmann, right?
After Airfreight, I got the opportunity to belong to Customer Service team and now I’m part of the OAM team. I am an Operational Account Manager since 2019.
What an exciting professional development! What fascinates you the most about your job?
What I like the most is to build trust with the customer and making the difference by doing improvement analyses. It also fascinates me, that nothing is already established in terms of market conditions: they could change from one day to another.
Sounds like an interesting field to be in! Could you share with us one of your proudest achievements of your career?
I am proud of being part of an extraordinary professional, committed team. One of the main achievements is to build trust with the customer.
And what has been your favorite Hellmann- moment so far?
I would say that every time when we receive the award of the customer to keep working with them because is the result of the effort of many people going the extra mile, doing their best.
It’s rewarding to see hard work pay off. And how would you describe the atmosphere at Hellmann?
It is relaxed, excellent to work in teams and make good friends.
That’s great to hear! Why would you say that Hellmann is the best employer for you?
Because Hellmann has adapted to new Global situation, still growing, offers training courses to be better at our job and is flexible. I Feel that my ideas are listened to, that my leaders trust in me and guide me to reach new goals.
We’re glad that you are feeling supported and listened to! How about your team, could you share some insights about team-work at Hellmann?
My team is composed of young people. Who are committed, responsible, creative, passionate, and funny. They are so professional that thanks to them, our customers are close to us. The team is always looking for alternatives to exceed customer expectations. The departments are interconnected and we do our best to accomplish our responsibilities.
Mariely, what does working at Hellmann mean to you?
Working at Hellmann means to me to be part of a great Organization that offers opportunities to grow, that takes care of people , where the working atmosphere is excellent and the leaders trust in our capabilities by challenge ourselves to reach new goals.
