Noella Razafindralambo
Branch Manager
Antananarivo
Noella, we are excited to get insight into your Hellmann story! What did your career path look like?
I studied at a Christian school, and the way of life I had there helped me enormously to shape myself organically. At university, I majored in management and international trade. As a youngster, I was already immersed in the world of commerce in my family. I left the family cocoon once I was married, staying in the world of international trade, and joining an Italian-Malagasy company specializing in the export of worked semi-precious stones.
How did you end up with Hellmann?
I heard through a friend that Hellmann Madagascar was seeking a sales representative, and given the proximity of the workplace, I felt tempted to apply for the position. The prospect of working in a large international company had already fascinated me.
Since when are you with Hellmann and what is your current job?
Since May 2013 I’ve been the manager of the branch.
Please give us some insights. What are you doing as a Branch Manager?
As finance is managed by our office in South Africa, I support them by handling collections and representing the company in administrative matters such as customs, tax, and others. Additionally, I manage commercial tasks and occasionally oversee operations. We mutually support each other in our roles.
What fascinates you about the logistics industry?
First and foremost, I aim to contribute to the development of my country. I take pride in being involved in importing or exporting world-renowned products. In my view, logistics encompasses more than just transport; it also involves understanding the history and knowledge of a particular product from its origin to its destination. Personally, I don't merely transport goods; I educate myself by engaging with local customers to learn about their products.
In Madagascar, the atmosphere feels like family. Even when I get to know other foreign colleagues, it's very warm.
What does working at Hellmann means for you?
To experience the family spirit at Hellmann with many warm-hearted people, eager to share and ready to offer their help when needed, is truly remarkable. In addition to this, working in tune with the digital age allows us to easily connect with colleagues from different countries.
