Richard, we are excited to get insight into your Hellmann story! You are part of Hellmann since 2010, which is very impressive. What is your current job?
I am currently the Senior Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, I manage the overall performance of two warehouses within Hellmann. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of services as per client protocol, and fostering a supportive and safe workplace environment for my colleagues.
Where did your interest in this field arise from?
The fast-paced nature of my work, which involves a variety of tasks, along with ensuring services are delivered to meet expectations, is what I enjoy the most. I chose this job after being introduced to the world of warehousing as a fresh graduate. My interest in the industry grew during my first job in the Philippines.
And what fascinates you about the logistics industry?
I appreciate the fast-paced nature of this sector, which is always dynamic and never dull. Not only does it play a vital role in the global economy, but it also proves crucial in challenging scenarios such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sounds like you really like working in the logistics industry! As already mentioned, you are part of Hellmann since 2010. What was your first impression of Hellmann?
I had the impression that Hellmann genuinely looks after its employees, demonstrating understanding and care. When I joined Hellmann in 2010, the orientation program conducted by HR and the introduction to colleagues helped to get a feeling of confidence and security. Hellmann's values and goals have set a positive tone for my career, and I am confident that I made the right choice to pursue my career here.
While talking about Hellmann as an employer, what makes Hellmann special for you?
Hellmann has always treated its employees like family. Since the day I joined this organization, I have felt and experienced that. Additionally, the culture at Hellmann is fantastic. Team members are supportive and caring toward each other.
How is your team made up?
My team comprises diverse individuals with expertise in warehouse operations, particularly in handling chemicals. I have a total of fifteen direct reports.
And what do you like the most about your team?
It's amazing to have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse cultures. The team collaborates closely to ensure objectives are met, and I admire that everyone's respectful and kind.
Richard, if you had to describe what working at Hellmann means to you in only one sentences, what would it be?
To have a home away from my original home, I am truly grateful for the opportunities I've received and for the transformation into the confident individual I am today.
