The working experience at Hellmann has been truly incomparable for Rick. Find out why:

Rick Hsu
Key Account Manager
Taipei
Rick, you are the first Key Account Manager at Hellmann Taiwan. Can you tell us about yourself and your work?
I am honored to be the first Key Account Manager at Hellmann Taiwan. I have worked in logistics for a while, always in business-related roles. I had similar work experience before joining Hellmann, which gave me a good understanding of the Key Account Manager position.
My main job is to maintain existing customer relationships, improve cooperation, and seek new business opportunities. I want to maintain the existing business and open up new markets to improve the company's competitiveness.
Why did you join Hellmann?
I was attracted to Hellmann Taiwan's HR. They were very professional and helpful throughout the communication process. Compared to my previous experience, Hellman's HR did not simply "sell" the company, but stood from my perspective and helped me analyze my career direction and future goals.
One of my previous supervisors also joined Hellmann Taiwan. He told me that the company is developing rapidly and has a lot of room for development and job opportunities. These are the reasons I joined Hellmann.
What impressed you the most in the past year?
The Mid-Autumn Festival Gala impressed me the most. The company was generous to let all the colleagues relax and have fun in the office. I felt the company's humanistic care.
I was also impressed by the company's arrangement for me. They didn't let me start contacting customers immediately but gave me time to familiarize myself with the environment and work culture. This made me feel the company's care for me and its support of my personal growth.
What is different about working at Hellmann compared to your previous work experience?
At Hellmann, everyone works hard at their own post, strives towards a common goal, and supports each other. The department supervisors and colleagues are also willing to do things themselves and share resources.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a qualified Key Account Manager?
To become a qualified Key Account Manager, you need to be stable, have high emotional intelligence and patience, be careful, record the tasks required by customers in detail, and be well-rounded. You need to be good at getting along with people, because building good relationships with people can make work smoother.
Hellmann gave me time to familiarize myself with the environment and work culture in the beginning. This made me feel the company's care for me and its support of my personal growth.
What advice do you have for employees who are about to join Hellmann?
For employees who are about to join Hellmann, I would like to give some advice. First of all, you need to have a heart that is willing to do things. Hellmann Taiwan is developing rapidly and needs a positive and progressive attitude. Secondly, communication is very important. All the Hellmann colleagues I know are good listeners and are willing to communicate. Finally, teamwork is the core value that I think is the most important in this year. Everyone is a hero. Respect each other's work content and we will be able to work together as a team.
