Thusitha, it’s awesome that you are willing to share your story. Would you tell us, what’s your current position at Hellmann and what does your job look like?
I am currently working as a Head of Admin & Facilities. In this role, I oversee all warehouse facilities and the head office, and I similarly lead the procurement team. We ensure the safety, sustainability, and efficiency of the buildings we live and work in and their surrounding infrastructure instilling confidence in our customers who store their goods in our warehouse.
What fascinates you about your job field?
When I chose to join HWL in 2018, I was impressed by its vision, mission, and values, which attracted me to join. Most importantly, I noticed that HWL has a culture of empowerment and promotes entrepreneurship. This gives me confidence that this organization will allow me to grow, showcase my potential, and enable me to contribute more effectively, regardless of the position I hold. I have confidence and trust that the organization will recognize my efforts and provide value for them.
