Vickram, it is great that you are open to sharing your story. You are part of Hellmann since such a long time. What has your career at Hellmann been like so far?
I started my journey with Hellmann as a youngster in 1998. The hardships and struggles of the beginning helped me building up my personality and character. I literally grew up with the company. So after 25 years, I can confidently say it has been a very fruitful and fulfilling career at Hellmann.
Wow, that sounds amazing! What is your current job role?
I am currently the Team Leader for Airfreight Import & Export Operations. In this role I manage all daily tasks for MRU Airfreight imports, exports, customs clearance & logistics. Additionally I coordinate cross-trade shipments with regional countries and support the sales team with airfreight quotes from HWL network and local clients.
Sounds like a good variation of tasks and responsibilities. What fascinates you about your job and the logistics industry?
The logistics industry is perpetually evolving and changing. It always keeps you motivated with new challenges.
What does working at Hellmann mean to you?
Working at Hellmann means accepting changes and challenges. Hellmann encourages you to always think ahead and move forward and provides you lots of opportunity to work internationally. When I encounter a problem, I know that there is someone who knows the solution. Experts from a wide variety of fields come together and we benefit enormously from this diversity. I sincerely hope and wish to be a part of this prestigious company for many more years to come.
It seems like you are very happy to be part of Hellmann. What about your team? How is your team made up?
We are a team of three people who have been working together for 14 years already. We are a very dedicated, effective & hardworking team, working towards customer satisfaction and strictly following all the company guidelines. We strive to make each day memorable.
