Yogender, thanks for sharing your experience with Hellmann! Maybe you could start by telling us, what your current position is and what responsibilities you have?
Since March 2009, I have embarked on an exciting journey of almost 15 years at Hellmann India, encountering numerous challenges and learnings. In my current role as a Senior General Manager Finance, I am independently responsible for various aspects including compliances, withholding tax compliances, fixed assets management, advance taxes, government department GST audits and assessments. Additionally, I oversee accounting functions for the corporate office, manage trade payables, facilitate charge in and charge out mechanisms between different entities, and play a significant role in internal, group, statutory, and tax audits. Furthermore, I actively engage as a finance lead in the development and implementation of new systems, software, programs, and projects. I am passionate about improving my capabilities and striving to make a positive impact each day.
What fascinates you about your job?
My job is very multifaceted. Just to name a few aspects which intrigue me:

I find immense satisfaction in contributing to an organization’s long-term success by making informed financial decisions. My responsibilities span across finance, tax, accounting, and reporting. I oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory as well as tax compliance related requirements. This holistic view enables me to connect the dots and drive efficiency. The ever-evolving landscape of finance, tax, and accounting keeps me on my toes. Staying updated with regulations, trends, and best practices is intellectually stimulating.
