We are on the lookout for an Operations Executive, to join our team in Abu Dhabi. If you are someone who loves keeping things running smoothly and enjoys getting into the details of day-to-day operations, this role might be for you.About the job

Receive booking details from network and customer service colleagues via email

Check invoice, packing list and other documents of import/export shipments

Coordinate with the shipper/customer service team for any discrepancy on shipping documents

Arrange all documents required as per import/export requirements

Receiving cash/cheque from customers in regard to clearance shipment/delivery order collection and accounting the same to finance

Ensure complete documents (as per requirements) are handed over to customs clearance team

Arrange delivery/collection of cargo in appropriate vehicle in coordination with the transport vendor or transport

Coordinate with transport department/vendors for delivery of shipments/proof of delivery

Ensure that all job files are maintained

Coordinate with third parties, sales and finance to meet operational requirements

Resolve issues regarding cargo shortage/ damage/ claims
-
Ensure timely and effective communication takes place within defined time limits

Provide necessary information to internal staff

Ensure KPI’s are met and reported on a monthly basis
About you
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum 1 year of work experience working in a freight forwarding company (operations department), handling air & sea shipments
-
Should be willing to work in Abu Dhabi

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Power Point)

Excellent communication skills
