Captain on the bridge for the respective product within the Hellmann Benelux organization. You are accountable for the product strategy, product portfolio and processes within the Benelux cluster as well as to achieve maximum profitability and identify best use of business assets. This means gathering and prioritizing product vision at local levels, functionally leading the branch managers and working closely with Operations, Marketing and Sales to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will be reporting to the Managing Director and vertical product leaders within the Hellmann group.

Define the road maps and local strategies of the product according to global and regional strategies

Ensure the implementation of the Hellmann’s product management strategy at local level, including budget, cost control and financial evaluation

Translate, implement and verify national instructions in regards to their operational functioning so that on local level, the company KPI’s on (such as but not limited to) Quality, Cost Efficiency and service standards are reached

Complete ownership of the product strategy, roadmap and requirements

Translate the sales structure into the product department by implementing SOP’s, MOP’s and other work instructions

Ensure a clear pricing strategy that supports the growth and development of the Hellmann customer base and steer the pricing department accordingly

Ensuring that the network has the best in class partners in place ensuring qualitative market penetration, taking into account the financial and operational strategy of Hellmann

Functionally leads Operations in Branches by effective goal setting, adequate training and development, and access to all necessary information needed to achieve business objectives
About you

A broad experience in a leadership role within air freight forwarding

A strong focus on strategy, complemented by strong people management skills

A perfect mastery of Dutch and English. This both in writing and verbally

A digital mindset with an eye for innovation and progress

Your focus is on building bridges between different departments and helping people grow

You are willing to travel between our different business units on a regular basis
