About the job

To support Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in meeting internal quality and compliance business objectives and legislative requirements.

Support sites in monitoring and reporting on internal QHSE KPI's through the organisations established global & local country QHSE Management System under direction from Country Security & QHSE Manager. Specifically, you will:

  • Assist with the implementation, and maintenance of the Country Integrated Management System (IMS): Document request management and validation, document control, regular release of local changes, document review
  • Support compliance to, and improve the Global ISO9001:2015 (Quality) certification
  • Participate in internal ISO 9001, GDP and associated Logistic Industry audits and assist with follow-up and records management.
  • Support adherence to the incident/irregularity reporting, global/regional corrective and preventive action standards (CAPA) and coordinate the root cause analysis and agreement of corrective and preventive actions for severe and reoccurring incidents, a
  • Support HHL Supplier Management. Ensuring HHL Supplier Management actions are carried out according to SOP/GDP, suppliers are regularly reviewed, documents received from suppliers (e.g. Supplier Questionnaire) are reviewed, any actions completed and sig
  • Driving GDP and quality assurance initiatives locally and ensuring compliance to GDP and Quality Management System.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the compliance management including the National Legal Register, compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising operational teams on possible risks.
  • Attend planned and ad hoc Regulatory audits and assist local management on compliance interpretation and recommendation to demonstrate compliance.
  • Stay current on legislation of governing bodies and industry changes and support implementation within the organisation for compliance. Industry bodies include Biosecurity (DAWR), Australian Border Force, Home Affairs and work health and safety Regulato
  • Assist with communication with following industry bodies; Biosecurity (DAWR), Australian Border Force, Home Affairs and work health and safety Regulators (Worksafe/Safework) in each State/Territory in accordance with Country Security & QHSE Manager dire
  • Support identification and delivery of compliance training for employees. • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance non-conformances and provide advice or training.
  • Apply existing Logistics industry knowledge to coach and mentor operations on best practice.

About you

We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Freight Forwarding and industry terminology
  • Excellent Organisation skills
  • Proficient Communication skills and Effective Problem-solving
  • Ability to assess and apply critical Thinking
  • Basic data analysis skills, Microsoft Office 365
  • ISO 9001 Training, Qualified Internal & Lead Auditor
