Hellmann helps and Hull Foundation donate EUR 100.000 for orphans in Ukraine

To mark "375 Years of Peace in Westphalia," Hellmann helps and the Patsy & Michael Hull Foundation launched the "Swim for Peace" campaign in mid-2023, raising EUR 100.000. The funds will support two orphanages in western Ukraine—Bukiv Internatur and St. Nicholas House of Mercy in Lviv—providing infrastructure improvements, psychological care, and learning support for children affected by the war.

UNITE TO ACT: Supporting local communities

We're proud to partner with the Maletsati Foundation, founded by Tiffini Hein. The foundation supports orphaned children and combats food insecurity in South Africa, where 2.1 million children lack daily nutrition. Join our team as they collaborate with Tiffini’s foundation to provide meals and support to children and families in need.

Hellmann Daventry - Providing HOPE to local charities

Hellmann Daventry supports the local charity HOPE, which funds nearby organizations. When customer Guest Supply had surplus stock worth over GBP 13.000, our valued colleague Natalie proposed donating it to local charities. Guest Supply agreed, and 7 pallets of goods were distributed to HOPE, a women's refuge, care homes, and Daventry Connect.

Let the rainbow shine- Hellmann flies the flag at CSD

We know that the world is colorful and we strongly believe that everyone deserves the freedom to be themselves! That is why the Hellmann FAMILY made a clear statement at Christopher Street Day in Osnabrueck by leading the parade with our truck and continues to support the LGBTQIA+ community.

Hellmann and "terre des hommes" championing change in Cambodia

For over 60 years, Terre des hommes has fought for children's rights worldwide, ensuring access to education, health, and safety. In Cambodia, Hellmann's support has led to significant progress, including the creation of 45 self-help groups, improved sanitation for thousands, and the establishment of 20 children's clubs. Efforts have also reduced the acceptance of violence from 90% to 12%, transforming communities and empowering children like Mey Savry, a former victim of violence now leading positive change.

Caring as a way of life: On a mission against period poverty

On of our core values "caring" takes on special meaning through the work of one of our colleague and true quiet hero. For over nine years, Stephina’s fought period poverty by helping girls and women access menstrual products and empowering them to participate in social life. Through fundraising and community projects, her efforts, supported by Hellmann, make a real difference in Tembisa.

UNITE TO ACT: Together for an integrative workplace

Equality and inclusion are one of our core values. Our Disabled Workers' Representative Committee advocates for colleagues with disabilities, ensuring accessible work environments and equipment. Recently, a colleague with a sudden visual impairment was fully reintegrated into her role through collaboration and the exchange of specialized equipment, reflecting our commitment to support and inclusion.

Unite to Act: For cleaner air

We believe it's possible to be a logistics service provider and still prioritize clean air. In partnership with Youth for Ecological Sustainability, our Hellmann India team sponsored the 'Delhi Run for Clean Air,' a march with 500 participants, including 20 Hellmann colleagues. Supported by government officials, the event raised awareness about air pollution and our shared responsibility to find solutions.

That's why colleagues from all over the Hellmann world have founded Hellmann helps, which functions as a non-profit entity and is organizationally separate from the parent company. The association also supports sustainable projects for youth and elderly care, education and upbringing, as well as environmental protection and nature conservation. At the same time, the association stands for equal opportunities and diversity in the Hellmann world and beyond.

ZEKJU Driver Communication

Before the "ZeKju" driver app, Hellman's Direct Load unit was organized but lacked technical updates, with less than 10% of status reports submitted via app. ZeKju now streamlines processes by allowing digital document submissions through multiple channels, speeding up document processing, reducing order processing time to 2 days, and providing live translations to overcome language barriers.
