The Pricing Specialist - SF/AF is a key role to support pricing head for assigned tender and quotation requests. The Specialist works closely with Tender Management, countries, Product Management, Regional Pricing counterparts and Key Account Management/Sales on the customer pricing aspect of the RFQ or ad hoc quotation. Position focus is:

About the job

Analyze and understand pricing request and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Ensure complete and competitive pricing from Asia Pacific region meeting customer requirements.
On time submission with high quality in the format required.
Support new pricing process standards and quality.
Assist pricing head in the customer meetings/negotiations as required.
Translate and cascade global/regional pricing instructions into RFQ pricing instructions for involved country pricing teams
Checking for completeness and correctness of country submissions in accordance to guidelines.
Escalate in case issues cannot be resolved on time
Reviews and benchmark pricing received from the countries to ensure competitive submissions to the customers
Handle pricing inquiries from countries
Comprehensive translation from internal pricing file to external customer file
Ensure timely, competitive and complete submission of RFQ rate cards and other requirements to Tender Management or APAC/Global Pricing Lead
Monitor and follow up on bid status and results
Support agreed pricing process, data quality and compliance
Upload pricing team’s performance and support pricing head in the quality assessment of the countries
Work with and keep updated with pricing relevant software and tools

About you

Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a RFQ from received from customer till submission and follow-up
Knowledge of forwarding business; Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines when required.
Good project management and time management skills to stay on top of multiple deadlines for multiple bids in parallel
Good communication and interpersonal skills to properly engage with regional and country stakeholders and pricing teams of different cultural backgrounds
Strong analytical mind ideally paired with operational experience to analyze customer requirements and be able to quickly understand and challenge country bid input
Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Strong and enhanced user skills with Microsoft Excel (Pivot table, V/H-Lookup etc.)
